Now who knows what they'll decide between now and then. 5 years ago they said any trailer older than 2001 was done 15 years from the date of manufacture. I sold my 98 six axle 4 years ago cheap because of that rule the guy is still running it legally down the road today.

Assuming there isn't a bunch of stuff to move to install I can see that costing more than $1,500. Cost of wheels and tires would be the other variable.

Not sure why this is other than the fact that tri-axle dump truck owners are unable to retrofit their trucks due to an industry-wide shortage of critical computor parts related to the spif axle.
